Colour analysis
The twelve seasons of colour analysis
This is your palette
Every colouring sits somewhere on three scales: warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft. The four seasons split warm from cool and light from deep; the twelve add the third scale, so a soft summer and a bright winter stop being lumped together.
Each palette below is the set of colours that share all three of its properties. Worn near the face they make skin look even and eyes look clear; colours that miss on one or two are the ones that make people ask whether you are tired.

How to find your palette
Colour analysis reads three things in your colouring: warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft. The quiz asks about your eyes, hair and skin, looked at in a mirror by a window in daylight. It never photographs or scans your face, and the palette it finds is yours to keep.
