Colour analysis
A colour analysis quiz – free, and no photo
This is your palette
MondeStyle finds your colour season – one of twelve palettes – from a short quiz you answer at a mirror, in daylight. No selfie, no face scan, no email. The result is free and stays on your device.
What the quiz asks
- The colour of your eyes, your hair and your skin.
- The colour of the veins on your wrist – the vein test, which reads your undertone.
- How your shoulders, waist and hips compare, for your outline.
- Which looks you would wear, for your style direction.
It takes about five minutes.
What you get, free
- Your palette by name, and why it is yours: warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft.
- The colours to wear near your face, the ones that are harder there, and how to wear those lower down.
- Your outline, and what it means for trousers, skirts, dresses and jackets.
- Your style direction, and a picture of your result to share.
Why there is no photo
A photograph of a face records the light in the room and the camera as much as the skin: the same face reads warmer under a lamp and cooler by a window. Your own eye, at a mirror in daylight, does not have that problem, and your face stays off our servers. We never scan or keep a face.
How sure is the result?
It reads your answers, not a laboratory measurement. Where they point both ways, the result tells you so, names the other palette and lets your eye decide at the mirror. And if a colour on your list looks right on you anyway, trust your eye.
Questions
Is the colour analysis quiz free?
Yes. The quiz and your result – your palette, your outline and your style direction – cost nothing and need no card. A subscription adds an outfit every morning, outfit boards and books; you do not need it to get your result.
Do I need to upload a photo?
No. You answer at a mirror, in daylight. The quiz never asks for a photo and never photographs or scans your face.
Do I need to give an email address?
No. Your result is saved on your device. If you would like a copy by email, you can ask for one, and that is optional.
What is the vein test?
Look at the inside of your wrist in daylight: green-leaning veins point warm, blue or purple ones point cool. If you cannot tell, say so, and the quiz reads your undertone from your eyes and hair instead.
What if my answers point both ways?
Then the result says so. It names the other palette that could be yours and gives you two rows of colour to hold under your chin by a window – what your eye picks there decides.
