This is your palette
MondeStyle is a personal stylist on subscription: every morning, an outfit from your colours, your outline and the clothes you already own. It starts with a short quiz you answer at a mirror – which colours suit you, which cuts follow your outline and which way your wardrobe leans – and that result is free and yours to keep.
How the quiz decides
Your palette comes from three readings of your colouring – warm or cool, light or deep, clear or soft – taken from your eyes, your hair, your skin and the veins on your wrist. Each of the twelve palettes is one combination of the three. Your outline comes from how your shoulders, waist and hips compare, and your style direction from the looks you choose.
Warm or cool
A vote. The veins on your wrist are the one answer that looks at the undertone itself; your eyes, your hair and two of the skin answers – porcelain and olive – vote alongside them. Green eyes and brown hair do not vote: they turn up on both sides.
If the vote ends close to the line, your result says so and names the palette on the other side instead of stating an undertone as fact, and offers a check at the mirror: two rows of colour held to your face. What you pick there overrules the vote.
Light or deep
Your skin and your hair, each placed on one scale from light to dark, added together and read as light, medium or deep.
Clear or soft
How far apart your hair and skin sit on that scale, adjusted for how vivid your eyes are and how much pigment your hair and skin carry. Grey hair softens; red and black hair, brown and deep skin hold saturated colour.
When you cannot tell
An answer you could not give is not guessed. It casts no vote on warm or cool, and on the other two it is read as the middle of the scale. You still get a real palette, a wider one, and your result names the answer that is missing.
If it does not feel like you
Change any of the four colour answers on your result and watch the palette move, or take the quiz again – free, as often as you like. Your boards, plan and books follow whichever result is current.
What we do not do
The quiz never photographs or scans your face. Your answers stay on your device and are never written into the address of a page. There is no account to create, and the result is yours to keep without an email or a card.
Five languages
MondeStyle is written in English, Russian, French, German and Turkish – each one adapted for readers of that language, not translated word for word.
